Vista experience for ur windows XP

Haven't u thought if u would have a windows vista look combined with functionality of windows XP! then ur search ends here!

Dailytechnoapps hav brought u a new software to have vista look and to have some vista's unique some specialities!!

About vista mizer:

VistaMizer modifies your system files, so that when you reboot after installing VistaMizer, you won't even remember how your old desktop looked like.

With VistaMizer you are now able to transform your Windows XP, MCE or Server 2003 by giving it the look of Windows Vista. Therefore over 380 files with new Icons, pictures as well as videos are modified.

This means that VistaMizer does not provide own files and change your system files. That has the advantage that VistaMizer works with each language and no changes of the language specifics are made.

The installer is so developed that you have completely the change which will be modified and which not. Even if you select files, which are possibly not at all on your system available or not compatible, the application recognizes this and jumps over these. This ensures that the system does not become unstable because of wrong modification.

After updates if your system data are overwritten, then a renewal of these is possible by using an extra program that is linked by the VistaMizer. The application examines thereby, which files are updated and re-modify only these. This means a very fast re-modification and it is always the current data in the Backup.

Here are some key features of "VistaMizer":

· Vista-Look for Windows XP, MCE or Server 2003
· Modification of the own system files
· multilingual
· completely free choice for the modification files
· check the files for compatibility during the installation
· backup from the original system files
· re-modification of the system files after Windows Updates
· rebuilding of the original system files with un-installation

Google Offers Search By Voice.....

Google is pushing its voice-recognition technology to Apple's iPhone first, before devices running its own Android mobile platform.

The New York Times offered photographs of Google employees Vic Gundotra and Gummi Hafsteinsoon using an iPhone for a voice search. The free application was expected to be available on Apple's App Store on Friday. Google reportedly will soon offer the technology for other devices, presumably including the T-Mobile G1, which uses Android.

"This is an expansion of types of applications Google has already been developing," said Greg Sterling, principal analyst at Sterling Market Intelligence. "Google has GOOG411, which is the underlying technical engine. They also have a voice-search client for the BlackBerry which is limited to maps. So this is an evolutionary step."

Inside Google Voice Search

Here's how it works: The iPhone user asks a question, such as "Where's the closest Burger King?" or "How wide is the Grand Canyon?" The user's voice is converted to a digital file and transmitted to Google's servers.

Google Search then serves up the results -- in a matter of seconds if the user has a fast wireless network, the Times reports. The search results always include any local information.

"The question with these types of technologies is how good is the speech recognition? It's getting much better, and that's why Google feels this is the right time to introduce this," Sterling said. "Google has confidence now that voice recognition is good enough to open it up to the full Web search as opposed to the much more structured search on GOOG411."

Google is playing catch-up, in a sense. Yahoo and Microsoft

Christina Aguilera: I Used to Be "Too Thin, Now "I Love Showing My Cleavage"

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera's fluctuating weight doesn't bother her as much as it seems to bother her critics.

Appearing on the October cover of Lucky, the Pennsylvania-raised Grammy Award winner opens up about her curvier shape, telling the magazine she's happy to show off her fuller figure in a myriad of tight outfits.

"The challenge I've always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty," Aguilera explains. "And, obviously, I love showing my cleavage."

Though her shapely appearance has often been the subject of ridicule, Aguilera doesn't pay attention to the naysayers. "Hey, if you can work it and you can own it, that confidence is going to shine through," the blonde star says.

Aguilera wasn't always so confident in her own skin. When her career was just taking off, the pop princess struggled to find her own voice. "When you're young, it's so easy to get bulldozed," she says. "There were these two ladies who worked at the record label who always wanted to come to fittings and dress me up like a Barbie doll. It was disgusting."

Dating production assistant Matthew Rutler since late 2010, the Voice mentor (and mom to Max, 4, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman) is eager to share her new music with fans.

"If you love 'Fighter,' you're going to love my new album," she tells Lucky, referencing her triumphant hit single from her 2002 sophomore album, Stripped. "As a 31-year-old woman, I've been uncovering my independence, and it's been really fun to explore in the new songs."

Jillian Michaels: I Got "Chubby" After Becoming a Mom

Jillian Michaels and Heidi Rhoades with their son Phoenix and daughter Lukensia on June 10, 2012 in Malibu, California.

She's inspired legions of overweight Americans to shed unwanted pounds thanks to her work on NBC's The Biggest Loser, but tough-as-nails trainer Jillian Michaels has waged her own battle of the bulge since becoming a mom.

Bringing adopted daughter Lukensia, 2, home from Haiti less than a week after her partner Heidi Rhoades gave birth to their son Phoenix in May, Michaels tells the October issue of Redbook magazine that she found herself carrying around a few extra pounds after her family expanded.

"I went to interview Suze Orman for The Insider, and her wife said, 'You're chubby! And Suze said, 'You look like a mommy now,'" Michaels -- who just inked a deal to return as a trainer on The Biggest Loser for this winter's season 14 -- recalls of her friends. "I look at my body and I go: 'five pounds heavier.' But part of me really likes it."

As she and Rhoades raise their son and daughter, Michaels tells Redbook she looks to voluptuous celebrities like Beyonce rather than stick-thin models to inspire a healthy body image in her kids. "We talk about role models for her, like Beyonce, who has a more curvaceous figure," says the trainer, who also appreciates the bootylicious singer's hot bod. "My taste has changed. I prefer that look. For now, I want to look a little softer."

Deciding to return to The Biggest Loser after a two-season hiatus, Michaels will work with the show's first-ever kid participants, ages 13-17, in a bid to raise awareness of the growing childhood obesity epidemic. "Having recently become a mother of two, I am more passionate than ever about helping empower children and families with the information and resources they need to live a healthier life," she has said.

Her daughter Brielle, 15, Tweeted a gasp-inducing pic of her reality star mom in a long, tight black dress and quipped what everyone else was thinking.

"Seriously . . . who looks like this after 2 weeks of having a baby?"

No word yet on how Zolciak -- who's admitted to hating exercise on Real Housewives -- is dropping the pounds. Kash Kade joins big brother KJ Biermann, 15 months, plus Brielle and Ariana, 9, the Bravo star's daughters from a previous relationship.

PIC: See Jordin Sparks' Slimmed-Down Bikini Body

Jordin Sparks on September 10, 2012 at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

Jordin Sparks' jaw-dropping new bikini body is definitely something to sing about.

During a recent getaway to the Bahamas with boyfriend Jason Derulo, the singer/actress showed off her 50 pound weight loss -- which she first debuted last summer -- in a sexy, printed bandeau top and black bikini bottoms.

Earlier this summer, the Sparkle star, 22, opened up to Us Weekly about how she lost the weight -- and how she's successfully kept it off.

VIDEO: Jordin Sparks surprises a fan with an at-home visit

"There is no secret," the Season Five American Idol champ explained "It's just better eating and working out! It's definitely a daily thing."

One of her favorite ways to stay fit is with high-energy dance classes like Zumba.

"My mom's best friend is a Zumba instructor and I loved it," she said. "I started with walking then went to jogging and then Zumba." In addition to her cardio-heavy classes, "I started [working with a trainer] and we did 30 minutes of circuit training," Sparks revealed. "So I didn't feel like I needed to be in the gym for two hours."

Sparks' hard work has paid off big time; this summer, the pop star donned a bright blue bikini on the cover of August's Shape magazine.

"I could only dream of having a cover and looking like that," she told Us. "I thought, 'I did it!' I had to walk back to my dressing room and . . . pull myself together because I was overwhelmed. I cried. I shed a little tear."

Apple told to pay Samsung damages

1.5m) in Australia for its claims on 4G capabilities of the iPad.

And it is still not clear how much it may have to pay to Samsung in damages.

The Dutch court did not specify any amount, but the damages will be calculated based on sales of Apple's iPhone and iPad in the Netherlands.

"Samsung welcomes the court's ruling, which reaffirmed Apple's free-riding of our technological innovation," the South Korean manufacturer said in an emailed statement to the BBC.

"In accordance with the ruling, we will seek adequate compensation for the damages Apple and its products have caused."

Samsung had claimed that Apple had infringed four of its patents. However, the Dutch court said that only one of those had been breached.

End QuoteManoj MenonFrost & Sullivan Apple and Samsung are two of the biggest manufacturers of smartphones and tablet PCs in the world.

However, the two firms have been involved in dozens of patent cases and disputes relating to designs of their respective products.

Analysts said that with so many cases being fought by the two firms in different countries, neither of the parties may emerge as the overall winner.

"Both these companies need to understand that some cases will be won by Samsung and some by Apple," Manoj Menon, Managing Director of the consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan, told the BBC.

"This will put an increased pressure on both parties to figure out an amicable business solution, rather than prolong these battles."

Last month, a judge in the US ordered the chief executives of both the firms to meet to try to settle their legal differences.

But the talks did not lead to any agreement and Apple has since sought a ban on sales of one of Samsung's tablet computers and the latest range of its Galaxy smartphones.

Delaying tactic?

Apple had enjoyed an early lead in the smartphone and tablet PC market with the launch of its iPhone and iPad devices.

However, Samsung has been steadily increasing its market share in the sector with the introduction of new gadgets.

Windows Phone 8 system announced

Application tiles can be made to look smaller Background Skype

The update also allows internet call software based on VoIP (voice over internet protocol) and video chat technologies to run in the background.

This addresses a complaint that the firm's own Skype program could not be used to receive calls while its owner was using another application - a function offered on rival platforms.

The firm said VoIP calls should now "feel like any other call" made or received by Windows Phone handsets.

Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 strongly resemble each other - at least when the PC system is run under its Metro interface - and Microsoft was keen to stress that their relationship goes deeper than appearance alone.

The two will share a range of components including graphic drivers, the DirectX collection of application programming interfaces (APIs) and the NT kernel that ties application software to the hardware it is installed on. They can also both support native code in the C and C

Facebook reportedly back to building phones, recruiting former iPhone engineers

If the HTC Status' dedicated Facebook button fell shy of satisfying your obsessive social networking needs, sit tight: the house of Zuckerberg may be building a slab of tech just for you. According to the New York Times Bits blog, those old Facebook phone rumors are making a comeback. A handful of Facebook employees and engineers familiar with the matter reportedly say that the firm is collecting former Apple engineers, specifically, ones that worked on the iPhone and iPad. Like Zuckerberg said, mobile is the company's top focus, and one employee says the man at the top is afraid of getting overlooked in a sea of apps. "Mark is worried that if he doesn't create a mobile phone in the near future that Facebook will simply become an app on other mobile platforms." Facebook has focused on deep integration with other devices for some time, but a dedicated handset could take the freshly public company in new directions. Reports suggest that the rumored device is still in its infancy, and there's no word on form factor or OS, of course. Up for some speculation? Check out the source link below for Bits' full take.

The Apple II, as described by Steve Wozniak

Ask the average geek to describe the Apple II and you'll probably hear something about its legacy or software. Ask Steve Wozniak circa 1977, on the other hand, and he'll write you a technical tome -- or at least he did for Byte magazine. Way back when the classic computer was fresh, a young Woz penned an extremely detailed "system description" for the rig, pouring over specifics on the II's graphical capabilities, memory, peripherals, programming language and more. Perhaps in (slightly late) honor of the machine's 35th anniversary, Information Week has seen fit to reprint the extensive examination for your reading pleasure -- assuming you're up to wading through the technical nitty gritty. No? Well, Woz does have a few nuggets of wisdom for the layman. "To me," he says, "a personal computer should be small, reliable, convenient to use and inexpensive." No arguments here, Steve. Read the man's words for yourself at the source link below.

Nokia gets nose bloodied in IPCom patent case, says it doesn't care anyway

Mannheim is gaining a reputation as the place where patent disputes go to die. The latest loser? Nokia, in a case against German firm IPCom. A saving grace for the Finnish firm, this time, seems to be that the patent in question was granted in February 2011 and all the handsets involved predate this, and are no longer on the market. That's according to the firm's spokesman at least, who also added that it would be seeking a ruling from a higher court to clarify whether current handsets are also affected by the ruling. Well, they do say things come in threes...
